Thursday Fizz and The Hub Gateshead are proud to bring you another joint collaboration for all you creative's, this time at the up & coming Central Hotel, Gateshead.
Part 1 of 2 @ The Central....
Thursday 25th Feb, 6.30 PM Start.
Usual set up, the night is for anyone involved in, or wanting to get involved in the creative, media or digital industries.
The aim: To bring the North East creative community together to inspire, support and mentor each other whilst having fun at the same time.
The event is social driven and will feature a mix of live music (from the amazing Amy Wareham), nibbles and two free drinks. Everyone is welcome.
Choice of drinks will include;

*Wylam's Gold Tankard ... for the real ale drinkers out there!

The Central Hotel, as reported by The Hub in recent months has been saved from ruin after having been snapped-up by local pub group The Head of Steam Ltd. who own and run the Head of Steam, Cluny and Tillys bars in Newcastle.
The Central is a complete gem of a building sitting proudly on it's own island on Half Moon Lane, passed by thousands daily just along from Tyne Bridge and High Level Bridge. Built in 1856, the grand Victorian building is thankfully undergoing major works to restore it to it's former glory, part of a massive £1.1m revamp.
The management team have very kindly agreed to let us have exclusive use of the 'Buffet Bar' and adjoining function room featuring an original and listed carved bar not usually seen by the public. This will be your chance to be part of the history, to see the place in it's current guise before being transformed into a cracking live music venue, following in the same great footsteps of it's sister bars Cluny & Head of Steam.
We make no qualms, you'll be seeing the place as it is now - don't be shocked, but take it all in, and have a good look around. The place is oozing in original features. Then come back for Part 2 of 2 @ The Central, to see how it's changed once complete towards the back end of the year, when The Hub and Thursday Fizz will be inviting those that attend this night back to attend a special by invitation only event.
